In this video, Dr. Brice Gualdillière of Stanford explains how he used the revolutionary CyTOF 2 system, from Fluidigm, to identify new molecular markers that can predict surgical recovery times. CyTOF 2 enabled him to take a system-wide approach to identify markers of interest, then use a different methodology on the same instrument on specific cellular sub-types for validation.
