When life science technology leader Fluidigm introduced a new sequencing workflow for their C1 single-cell processor, they were looking to get noticed in an area of biology that was new to them: Clinical Genomics.
The major benefit was the ‘walkaway’ nature of the workflow. What previously took hours or even days of manual work could be run entirely within the machine with minimal setup.
